Wyo Bill Watch collects the minimum information necessary to function. This page explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address and Google account ID, obtained when you sign in with Google. Your email is used only to send bill update notifications.
- Your bill watch list — the bills you choose to follow.
- A log of notifications sent, so we can track changes over time.
We do not collect your name, location, browsing behavior, or any other personal information.
How we use it
Your email address is used for one purpose: notifying you when a bill you are following changes status, is signed into law, or is vetoed. We will never use your email for marketing, newsletters, announcements, or any other purpose.
We do not sell, share, rent, or transfer your data to any third party, ever.
How long we keep it
Your data is kept for as long as you use the app. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the footer of any page while signed in. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Cookies and sessions
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. It expires after 30 days. We use no tracking cookies, analytics, or third-party scripts beyond the Google sign-in flow.
Google sign-in
We use Google OAuth to authenticate you. We receive only your email address and a unique account identifier from Google. We do not receive your Google contacts, calendar, or any other Google data.
